Mounting Instructions
We recommend having a professional auto shop complete installation.
Follow these steps to securely attach your roof box to your vehicle's crossbars. For
maximum safety, always use the stainless Sikre M-Bracket for all mounting
configurations.
Option A: Standard Crossbar Mounting (U-Bolt)
1. Position the Hardware: From underneath the crossbar, thread the bolts upward on
each side of the crossbar and through the padded bottom bracket so the ends
push through the mounting slots on the bottom of the box.
2. Apply the Seal: Lay the protective seal over the interior slots. Create two small
punctures in the seal or cut into three pieces to allow the bolt ends to pass through.
3. Seat the M-Bracket: Place the SIKRE M-Bracket over the seal, ensuring the bolt
ends feed through the designated slot in the bracket.
4. Place one washer on each bolt
5. Secure: Attach the hand-tightened knobs to the bolt ends and FULLY TIGHTEN
until the box is firmly seated against the crossbar.

Option B: T-Track Mounting (T-Slot / Overland Racks Sherpa, Prinsu, etc.)
1. If your rack uses T-slot crossbars, use the hardware supplied by the rack
manufacturer (bolt/nut/washer combo) in conjunction with the SIKRE M-Bracket
mounting system.
2. Position the Hardware: Slide 1 or 2 (depending on amount of tracks in your crossbar)
vendor-supplied T-bolts or T-nuts into the crossbar tracks, aligning them upward
through the mounting slots on the bottom of the box.
3. Apply the Seal: Lay the protective seal over the interior slots. Create small
punctures or cut into 3 seperate pieces to allow the T-bolt ends to pass through.
4. Seat the M-Bracket: Place the SIKRE M-Bracket over the seal, ensuring the T-bolt
ends feed through the designated slots in the bracket.
5. Place Hardware: Place one washer on each bolt end.
Secure: Attach the vendor-supplied nuts and FULLY TIGHTEN with a socket wrench until
the box is firmly seated against the crossbar

Safety Check & Maintenance
Initial Fit: Ensure proper fitment and no movement when trying to move the base.
Routine Maintenance: Re-Examine tightness of hardware after initial 75 miles. For
continued safety, re-examine the tightness of hardware every 500 miles of travel.
